Things are heating up and not just weather wise but colour wise, according to CMG (Colour Marketing Group) and as previously predicted on our Colour Drenching for 2026 article, with deeper hues of Purple, Plum, and Burgundy.
Enter Protopia : A deep purple, which pairs with crisp whites like Pantone’s 2026 ‘Cloud dancer’, and dark Oak or walnut wood.
Try Pink and Burgundy combo: For a softer look consider using soft pink walls with Burgundy accents or try Colour Blocking in pastel pink and use either burgundy or black with brass or chrome accents. Or try the 70% 30% rule, using 70% of pink or other pastel or neutral colour, and 30% of another colour to create balance.
